This policy covers the Gadget Guy Uploader, a personal tool used by The Gadget Guy to upload short product videos to his own YouTube channel (youtube.com/@gadgetguyjboom).
The uploader is a private Python script run by the channel owner. It uploads video files he created to his own YouTube channel as Shorts, a few times per day. It does not run as a public service and has no other users.
Through the YouTube Data API, the tool uses a single permission: uploading videos to the owner's own channel. It does not read, store, or share anyone else's data. It does not access comments, subscribers, analytics, or any other channels.
This tool uses YouTube API Services. By using this tool you are also subject to Google's Privacy Policy: google.com/policies/privacy, and to the YouTube Terms of Service.
You can revoke the tool's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions (find "Gadget Guy Uploader" and choose Remove Access). Revoking access immediately stops the tool from uploading. Stored OAuth tokens are kept only on the owner's own computer and can be deleted at any time by removing the tool's local data files. To request deletion of any data associated with this tool, use the contact links at thegadgetguy.pages.dev.
We do not sell, share, or disclose any data to third parties. The only data transfer is the video upload itself, sent directly to YouTube via Google's API.
